If you wanted to spend just a LITTLE more that a new AVID, you should consider the Inshores... they are a SC4 blanks (avid SC3), and they have titanium recoil guides... they are AWESOME rods...

Lenoard, I have an older model Avid 7', medium heavy, fast action rod that I don't use to much. All original, no repairs, in very good condition; Handle is dirty however can be cleaned.
