has anyone used the Humminbird 958 c di fishfinder combo ? and what do you think of it ? because universal marine has it on sale for 875.00 , regular price was 1,700....

I have a 798 ci si combo and really like it...the screen is easy to read and the detail of the images are crisp and clean. $875 sounds like a really good deal for the 958.

That's not a bad price for the 958 c it's about a grand or so on amazon.com.

I bet that $1700 dollar unit is the more expensive 998c si that sale's in the $1500 to $1800 dollar range! I believe it's a newer unit too.

The newer 9x8 units have HD in the model name. The only difference between them and the 9x8 units before them is the led backlit screen which is brighter and easier to read in direct sunlight.
