Hey man I blew my 200 e-rude in 09, had a website called www.boatpartstore.com rebuild my motor and it's ran great ever since! It only cost me 3700$ for a complete rebuild including all parts. if you can pull the powerhead yourself u can save a couple grand. They pay for shipping both ways and warranty their work as long as u own the boat. It's seriously worth checking out. I'm not affiliated with these guys at all, just really impressed with the product I got for my money.

I AM NOT SAYING THERE SHOULD BE CAPITAL PUNISHMENT FOR STUPIDITY,
BUT, WHY DON'T WE JUST TAKE THE SAFETY LABELS OFF OF EVERYTHING
AND LET THE PROBLEM SOLVE ITSELF?"

Thanks everyone for the information here. I am going to call Ron, look at the website and think about slapping a new Merc on. It's what we love to do so money can't stand in the way of catching a toad. Tightlines!
