OT: Peacock Bass in Kauai?

Postby Big Buddy » Thu Jun 13, 2013 8:08 pm

My wife and I are spending a week in Kauai the last week of July and would love to hire a guide and try to catch some peacocks. Have any of you guys done this. Any help would be great.

Yep, several times. Fish are not BIG, but it's extremely fun days on the water. Dan

I also went out on the Wailua with Tom Christy
It was too early in the season for the peacocks (was there in late May)
We did catch a few largies and up river got into the smallies.
Good time !
Good Guide! :D
