Castaic Fishing

Post by DAKINE198 »

It has been a while since I have been on the Water, since May to be exact.
102 degrees is way to hot to be playing paintball right now.
Can anybody tell me how the bite at Castaic has been.
I may or may not fish the Castaic Club Challenge.
So whatever info you guys want to share would be cool.

Thanks,

Steve I

What's up Steve?

I had not been there in over a year but I managed to get out last weekend to find a morning bite on plastics. Once the sun came up it pretty much shut off completely. I did manage a few fish after the sun popped in deeper water. Looks like they have settled in to chasing bait so they pretty much don't want anything else? Wish I could help out more but I basically learned nothing :-(

I'll be out there at the club challenge with the California Bass Contenders club.

Big Ed!
