MAYFLIES

Post by Basslab »

Last weekend's Clearlake trip resulted in 2 hours of pressure washing those darn mayflies off the hull. Planning on another visit this weekend and was wondering if spraying WD-40 on the hull would keep them off or possibly harm the gelcoat. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

Oh yeah. You do grab a lot more dirt where you sprayed the WD but that comes off with any cleaning product and a light brushing followed by a hose.
