Catch a big swim bait – win a boat

Ok..so the're not bass…they only look like the swim baits you use to catch bass.

But that’s not the point.

The point is that some of you diehard “bassers” that have families, never get a chance, or most likely can never find a venue that caters to some fishing action the entire family can enjoy or participate in.

But your opportunity to do just that is available this weekend, Sept 21-22, at San Pablo Dam in El Cerrito, as the Fish Sniffer Magazine in collaboration with Angler’s Press Promotions, is hosting the 1st Annual Bay Area Trout Anglers Challenge - an event that promises to deliver a ton of fun for the whole family as the summertime draws quickly to a close.

Great food, lots of vendor displays, kid division prizes, and more is on tap as anglers vie for the opportunity to win a Klamath boat, trailer and motor just for catching the biggest trout over a 2-day period!

And you do not even have to own a boat to participate in this event, as anglers can “set up camp” and fish from shore, on what many trout anglers consider to be the best pound-for-pound “planted” trout lake in northern California. To date, over 70,000 pounds of trout have been planted at San Pablo Dam, with a HUGE plant scheduled to take place this week!

Adult entry fee is just $15, which covers both days and get this…kids 15 and under are FREE!

What better way to close out the summer, and send the kids back to school with smiles on their faces, than to participate in a family event that is guaranteed to be fun for all!

Hope to see you all this weekend!
