Absolutely one of the best values in fishing today, at least in my opinion. Every year I send in half of my arsenal (usually 8-10 reels) for service, and every year I am amazed at what I get back! Thank you again Dan!

Awesome service and a great deal. Sent dan six reels last Tuesday and even with a post office delay he received them Thursday. He serviced them and did the bearing upgrade on three of them. Some how sent them out the same day and I received them Friday. Didn't know customer service like that still existed. Thanks dan, and the bearing upgrade is definitely worth the money.

Hey Dan You've already serviced all my reels this year but got a couple of questions for next years service. Question number one on the older curado and Castaic reels could you explain the bearing upgrade that you offer. Is it a noticeable difference in performance and what is the cost of the upgrade? Question two can you turn an older non super free curado or Castaic into the super free version? Thanks Pat Olson Bishop Cal.

No Pat you cannot turn a non-super free reel into a super free version. The bearing upgrade does get your older reels closer in terms of free spool though. Info and reasons for upgrading are on the website www.reel-ex.com, and some of those here can attest to the differences they've experienced. Dan

If anyone has 4 reels to be done, please call me. I have 4 reels that need servicing (3 with Dan's bearing upgrade and 1 without). I want to get the special pricing and would like to send them in before Wed. Dan does a great job if you have not had it done. I will be getting the upgrade on the last one I have that needs it and a cleaning and drag washer replacement on the others. Let me know ASAP please.
