LCX 28c Sonar issues

Post by DaLa »

Sonar will only show "60 foot depth" with small blocks scrolling across the very top of the screen. Same image and reading in or out of the water. The transducer is integrated into my maxxum pro TM. The transducer "clicks" like it is working. Connections are clean and dry. Tried a known to be good strap-on transducer with no change.

Settings for sonar are to 200 mhz

Anybody experience a clicking transducer but no info reaching the display?

I am planning to call Lowrance during work hours this week...

(Temp and GPS work fine)

Thanks, Dave.

Perform a soft reset first, and then reprogram it to Shallow water mode, and the transducer type to Generic 83/200 khz.

Thanks Marc, I'll give it a shot but I don't remember seeing 83/200. Only 50/200 kHz
