So I have been impressed with the large numbers of lakes that are turning on and producing huge limits and toads. Is it just that technology is allowing us to see more? Bullards Bar with 40lbs of spots, Delta with 10 limits over 10 pounds and two over 10lbs!, Melones, And on and on.
So, my question is this: what two bodies of water from Bakersfield North, would you choose to chase your personal best?
Also, what would you consider your personal best? I havn't broken 10 pounds yet, so that's my goal and I think Delta or Clear Lake.
Thoughts?

Re: Personal Best?
in the last two years I've ventured to many BIG bass lakes and all have been a lot of fun... granted I need to break 15.25lbs to get a new PB, but of those lakes the one I have found with the BEST potential for giants is Lake Isabella. I fished it once and got a 11.4lber.

Don Pedro and Melones both have giants. If you got to Clear Lake there are a lot of big fish, hire Matt Allen for a guide, or any of the other local guides to get your PB.
