A possible state record bluegill was caught today at Kelsey Bass Ranch. The fish was caught during the Take a Special Person Fishing Day by lucky participant Kenny Gomes who was fishing with Lee Houston. The fish weighed 3.92 the existing record is 3.8

Here's a picture of the fish. After weighing on a certified looks like he's going to come up about a 1/2 oz shy of the state record. Record is 3.8 his weighed in at 3.76 officially. Regardless it's a great catch. And the modesto ambassadors and Jon Kelsey are paying to have this trophy mounted for the young man.
