To activate a trail, hit the Pages key. Use the right arrow to navigate around to Waypoints, Routes and Trails and hit enter. Use the right arrow key and highlight Trails and hit enter. Highlight New Trail and hit enter. Now when you get on the water the next time, you will have a trail showing everywhere you go that day. This trail will continue the next time on the water, even if you go to a new body of water.

Once you do this, you can go to the Trails page of the Waypoints, Routes and Trails again and highlight Trail 1 which is the Trail you first started, and hit menu. Go down this drop down menu and highlight Edit and hit enter. Experiment in this box. While Trail 1 has the blue box around it hit enter and you can hit back space to erase Trail 1 and then type in what ever you want to name this trail if it is one you want to keep. The keep this trail, go back to the main Trails page and highlight New Trail and hit enter. This will start Trail 2 and the previous trail will be saved.

Back to the editing of Trail 1. In here you can change the color of the trail, you can make it show on the screen or hide it so it will be saved but be visible or you can delete the trail altogether.

Just play with this Edit feature and you will see just how much you can customize the Trails in you fishing.

BTW, you can do all this stuff to Waypoints too by doing the same process in Waypoints.
