IMX 844 and DX 743/744/745

Post by yangjay »

I've been using a NRX 893 and can't seem to go back to my IMX 844 (it seems so heavy compared to the nrx). Lately, I've been thinking about the Dobyns Extreme series...is the dx 744/745 comparable/better (weight and sensitivity) than the imx 844? What's the opinion on the dx 743, would it be useless since I have the nrx 893?

We do well with DX 743C but the DX 744 and DX 745 out sell it. Still a very good rod for us. They're very well balanced and sensitive. I believe you know this but in case... IMX 844 is 7 footer as you know...but the DX 743 is 7'4". We sell a lot of this length of rods. All of our 7'4" models come both in Split grips and Full Handles as well.

Richard, Dan, or myself will be happy to talk rods with you anytime. We love to help with info to insure you get the model you need. 530-671-1989 THX!!

Thanks Gary. I just wanna know if it's worth it to move up to the dx 744/745 (convince me with testimonial). Also, I've been noticing a lot of people selling their Dobyns, is there something I should know?

We continue to sell lots of rods and our company is still growing fast. We answer our phones because I hate automated systems. We provide great customer service. We build some of the best rods going. We sell through dealers only. You're welcome to check them out at one of our dealers or call us with questions.
