Clock problem
Can anyone tell me if the latest or previous update to my gen2 hds 8 addressed the change in daylight savings time? My clock suddenly seems to be stuck in a loop...ie seconds go around part of a minute but then loops back and the time never changes. Tried resetting both units off/on for the sides can/network unit etc. thanks

You might try a soft reset. This will erase the overlay data you have put on each of your pages, which you can re-do when the reset is done. This reset will not erase any waypoints or trails you may have saved.
On the HDS 8, start with the unit off. Hold down the Pages key and press the Power key. Keep holding down the Pages key until the unit powers up and goes to the Chart page, then release the Pages key. Now your unit is reset to the factory default settings.
Go to "Edit Overlay Data" and re-install the overlay data and see if the Time is working properly. I would think this would correct the issue.
