help needed

Post by BrandonCook »

Ok so I ran all my wires for 2 hds 10s with structure scan. I ran ss transducer to ss box. Normal transducer to back of console hds 10 then an ethernet cable from console 10 to ss box. On the bow hds 10 I ran tm transducer to bow hds 10 and ethernet cable to ss box. And of course power to all units and ss box. So I would like both units to be networked and I am not sure they are plus I have structure scan to the front unit but it says no source and I got no structure scan to the console unit. Anyone know where messed up! Please pm me back or if you have time to explain please call 9259849326 thanks brandon

It sounds like you need to connect the "wake up" wire for the LSS box. What I mean is that there is no power button for the LSS module (black box). When you look at the power cable for the head unit, you will see the Black wire, ground, Red wire, hot, and a yellow wire, wake up wire. The same is true for the power cable for the LSS box. Both Red wires go to a hot source, both Black wires go to a ground source, both Yellow wires are connected to each other. This way when you hit the power button on the head unit for it to come on, the LSS box will come on at the same time. Otherwise the LSS box has no "wake up" signal to come on and you will get a no source message because the box is not turned on.
