Major League Fishing vs. Elites

Post by Wolfeman »

Am I the only one that likes the Major League Fishing format better than the standard Elites format?

MLF MUCH more interesting in my opinion. The Elites are a weigh in show with wannabe comedians, and pro wrestling hype.

I like the 2 minute penalties for letting the fish hit the boat deck or trapping it against your body. Promotes the 'we care for the fish' idea.
But in today's show I saw two penalties for not returning the fish to the water properly (one of them was for a short fish  ). What is the rule there? Gently return the fish to the water and don't toss it back in?

It has to be released below the gunnel edge of the boat. No flipping it or tossing it in.
