HELP TEAM ELSHERE

Post by TeamBeefmaster »

As some of you may have heard, the younger half of Team Elshere is about to go through the fight of his life. Eric Elshere, the local Castitas Pro, was diagnosed with cancer last week. He is just 31 years old and has many years of fishing ahead of him.

Eric (elfish16) is very active on the boards and needs help from his fellow fishermen. His family setup a Go Fund Me page, the link is shown below. Lets help ease the burden on Eric and his family, so he can get back on the water as soon as possible.

Brian,
It's not sad yet.
If I were a gambling man, I'd say cancer has met it's match.

Eric has been moved from crucial to critical care which is a step in the right direction. He's in the fight of his life. All of the text and social messages from everybody really makes his day.. Keep it up..

That's good news!
Tell him it's time to take out the flipping stick and 65lb braid, and open a whole new can of whoopass on cancer!
And get pissed! Cancer is trying to poach his spot!

Went to Community Memorial Hospital on Friday for a visit , Eric was in good spirits and according to him the initial chemotherapy treatment went well . Lots of Doctors appointments and lots of testing for the next few months . All in all he looked pretty good !!!!! Talked mostly about fishing and the trout plants at casitas,That's where he gets his motivation from !! Lol

He had his chest tubes removed Tuesday at about noon, and he may even be heading home today (Wed). He's a good guy, and is ready for the big fight!

Not sure where my post went but we will be having a raffle for 1,000.00 $ worth of Roboworms !!! You don't have to fish the tournament but you must be there to buy tickets and win the prize . Come on out and help a friend , you never know when you might need a hand yourself .......
