PUT A DIME SIZE CHIP ON THE TOP OF MY BAIT, WOOD IS EXPOSED.
I WAS WONDERING WHAT SHOULD I PUT ON IT TO HELP PROTECT FROM WOOD GETTING WET?
THANKS

I would make sure it's dry, and then seal the wood with the runny super glue first, two coats, letting it soak in.
You can use some colored nail polish to color the patch once the super glue has set, about 5 minutes.
Then put some clear nail polish over it, and you're good to go. The colored nail polish isn't as hard as the clear. Just don't try and brush it out. Put it on quickly and let it be, or the clear will make the colors run.
