Anyone know if you can launch up there yet ? Called numerous numbers and can't get a live person.

No there no ramp in the water yet , I called last week an spoke to a person at Mcswane about McClure because I couldn't get ahold of anybody there either

The North ramp should be open. But it's a pain to launch on that one. I contacted them and here is the reply:

The south ramp at Barrett Cove ends at elevation 630’. We are now at 617’. We do not have a prediction when south ramp will open.
You can just keep checking with me. It depends on how much run off comes down.

Why in the world did they open the gates and let a bunch of water out of here?? My god! Let these lakes fill.

It's all about the money, same reason they were pumping as much as they could from the Delta. When the lake level is going down with the rains we're having, someone is making money.
Starting in 2014, they are going to spend $20 million on campground and trails but nothing on boat ramps. http://www.mercedid.com/default/assets/ ... _Final.pdf. That was to get relicensing.
