I think Gil is in the San Jose area - or was.

Gil used to guide at Amador and maybe Pardee. He moved several years ago - I think to San Jose. I still guide at both lakes. I loved Pedro when I lived in San Jose. Even guided there twice after moving to Yuba City, but just too long of a trip!! Lake McClure was the hot lake in the 70's, producing many of the early 10 lb bass in northern California, along with Camanche. I fished my first tournament ever at McClure - in a wicked hailstorm! I really loved those lakes, as I do all of the foothill lakes!!!
