boater friendly motels to stay in the Stockton area
boater friendly motels to stay in the Stockton area
Im planning to fish the Delta out of the Stockton area. Do any one have any suggestion for a boater friendly, safe motel to stay close to a launch ramp in the Stockton area. Im thinking one of those that caters to tournaments with electricity outlets to charge batteries
My next stop will be Folsom lake, same , looking for a friendly safe motel
Please any suggestions???

The best motels to consider in the Stockton area are in Brentwood and Oakley

Or just drive a little further up the highway and stay at B&W, keep tthe boat rite outside the room on the water and avoid Stockton all together, no traffic to deal with just hop in and go fishing.

Stockton hotels are not the greatest and definitely not boat friendly. best to drive a bit and stay in a safer area.

No such hotel exists.
That said B&W is a good option or even berthing your boat overnight at the marina you plan on fishing from.

We've stayed at La Quinta and the one across the street - Super 8 (I think) on March Lane. They're right off the 5. Just tell them you will be fishing & have a boat. They have always been very accommodating. Ladd's launch is down the street. B&W is great and you can leave your boat in the water with power at a slip (last time I was there). I don't think all the cabins have A/C though.

thanks you all
I looked at La Quinta in march lane. There is a ramp down the road. I stayed there 8 yrs. ago with no problems. I don't know if Stockton has gotten worse than then. I will look into the Oakley and brentwood areas as well

I stay regularly at the residence inn Marriot on march lane. They allow dogs. There is some parking for trucks with trailers. It is in a pretty quiet neighborhood If you get the right room, you can run a cord out the window to charge your boat.
