-Any one notice that Richard Dobyns won $25,500.00
-Nick Nourot won $7,500.00 for 2nd
-last pro check Michael Birch won $1,500.00 all this for a $700.00 Pro entry fee from Wild West Bass Trail.

-Co angler champ Josh Kaneko won $5,500.00.
-Last Co angler check was $700 all for $350.00 entry fee.

Pretty stout.

Good stuff, but our boat count was low for us at 88 boats. Too much other stuff going on. It would've been a heck of a payback at 150 boats . We'll get there too. Still Richard wasn't complaining with $25,500 on $700 entry fee. Standby for next year guys :) :)

All I'm saying for now!!!

Congrats Richard for two solid days on Cal Delta. Big win !!!!

Wild West Bass Trail may be the new kid on the block, but in its first season it has already generated a ton of fans and followers. I personally wish I could have fished all the events this year, but look forward to next year's schedule so I can make adjustments to my personal calendar.

Great events, and GREAT pay outs!!!

Probably the most organized, well run tournaments I have ever fished. Everyone was very friendly and professional. You can see the excitement in all that were fishing it. And what a awesome payout! $25k for a 88 boat field!!?? Lets see any other circuits pull that off. Congrats Richard!

My first time fishing with the WWBT as a co-angler and was very impressed. I will definitely be fishing all of the events next season. The free gallon of Lucas two stroke oil at registration was unexpected and greatly appreciated!

Great post and the facts speak for themselves. Hopefully sponsors will continue to step up and support these organizations who are busting their humps to be there for us!

Thanks for all the hard work WWB, I hope more sponsors see the value in the organization and a very big thanks to the current sponsors who are making this happen. We don't need the flood gates to bust open but just a little crack in the dam and some help from other business out there.

Working together we can rebuild West Coast bass fishing.! Richie Rich

I only got to fish one event this year, had motor problems.
I plan on fishing them all next year.

These guys know how to run a tournament and really take care of their fishermen.
Can't wait for the schedule to come out.
Great job guys! Keep up the great work.

Gary and the Wild West Bass Trail staff do an amazing job. This circuit has given me and the average guy a chance to chase his dream. The $700 dollar pro entry fee opens up the field to a lot more guys who love to compete. I love the off limit periods, and limited pre-fishing days. This really helps put a fair level across the board for all anglers. We are all blessed to have Wild West Bass Trail this year.

Can't wait for the championship at Lake Mead

I personally would like a few things changed. Like one more pre-fish day for guys traveling 10+ hours ( of course that means everyone.) I think it would help bring more travelers.
Gary and crew will be sending out surveys later on. I think that will be our chance to give our input.
Meanwhile, I just think it's great to have a GREAT circuit back, with great people running it!

Thank you!

Thank you WildWest staff for bringing such a great tournament trail out west. We as anglers need to do our part and help promote WildWest and bring out more boats for next year!

Bill-

I don't have any monetary interest in WWBT, but I am a part of their advisory board. An angler survey is in the works. If you have any other suggestions, you can PM me. I will promise you that any and all suggestions will be brought to the table. That's the kind of ownership group we are dealing with, they will flat out listen to any/all ideas. Doesn't mean that can adapt all the great ideas, but at least they are a western rooted company that listen to western anglers.

I know than Ken. I do have more and I will get them to you as we move forward. They will be given by PM.
Gary and crew are the best. I believe this circuit is the best thing to come along in a long time.
There's always ways to make things even better and suggestions are always just that, suggestions!

Thanks buddy,

the 700 for $25,500 is only an option if you qualify for the Evinrude contingency program correct? 10k but only if you run a 2007 or newer Evinrude OB?
is that glitter!? Nice boat tinkerbell!
