Press Release: Hot From Ultimate Bass on Gary Dobyns!

Post by Cooch »

"Ultimate Bass Press Release"

Ultimate Bass has learned today from a close source to Western All-Time Money Winner and top professional bass angler Gary Dobyns that along with his new wrapped logo Ranger Z series tournament boat that was introduced on Westernbass.com this past week, Dobyns will also be joined at major bass tournaments, sport and boat shows and in-store promotions by the "Dunkies". The "Dunkies" pictured below will help with launching the new Dunkin Donuts wrapped boat, boat check, weigh-in and will help Dobyns with large catches that will require more than one person to carry the weigh bags to the scales. With the "Dunkies" help Dobyns will be free to sign autographs, shake hands and hand out free product. "The Dunkies are in no way a copy of the "Mistys" that are seen with top Clear Lake Pro Seig Taylor" said Dobyns. "They will be with me at shows carrying my rods and tackle and helping with my seminars"

Joining in the promotion major sponsor Dunkin Donuts will introduce the "BDO Assortment" with 39 of Gary's favorite on-the-way-to-the-lake treats representing the number of boats the Western legend has taken home. "One more win and we can add the chocolate maple glaze whipped cream stuffed twist to the box, one of Dobyns favorites" said IM Gonnastompyourass, Dunkin Donuts VP of Marketing.

Ranger Boat rep Keith Tripp said "We are happy to have the Dunkin boat and Dunkies on the Ranger staff with Gary and in rough water we have the perfect boat for Dunkin and with the coffee colored water in the California Delta Gary is sure to be a threat in next weeks Stren Series tournament held out of Russo's Marina. This favorite Delta launching spot is located near 3 Dunkin Donuts, 2 In and Out Burgers and 14 Baskin Robbins stores. The latter will be associate sponsors and will be displayed on the new Ranger tournament package but will not have mascots such as the "Dunkies" as Dobyns didn't like the "In & Outies" and Baskin Robbins was not willing to introduce 8 new flavors to come up to Dobyns magic number of 39 boats.

Look for Dobyns on the lake in the upcoming months and don't be afraid to ask him for an autograph, sample pack of glazed choke um downs or a fishing tip.

Hey Kent, I just go an e-mial from hostess, evidentaly they are also interested in a sponsorship due to BDOs' individual market share of Ding Dongs. Might have to add another initial or two, make it BDDDO, Big Dumb Ding Dong Oakie....full of cream filling though. Comes from too much catching!!

It ain't just the wrapped boats, pink thong Rude commercials, it's reality West Coast style and GaryD is taking this new sponsorship program to the limit! This just came in to the staff here at Westernbass.COM, the deal is set and along with the Dunkies, they will be sending the GaryD 2007 Slop Wagon to every event Gary fishes! Now fer all you fans who wanna fish like Gary, you can eat and look like him too!

<img src="/shared/photos/photos/resized/2509_resized.jpg">

And when ya end up puttin that boat of yers on the rocks at the entrance to Lil Manyville or Lil Franks, because yer bellie was too full or that late afternoon sugar rush hit home, preventing you from accurately steerin yer boat, have no fear, Gary's assured us he'll have his tactical mechanical support team on hand waiting at the marina!

So, will the boat Gary has at Stren be called the Dobyn's Delta Dirty water Dipping & Dunkin Special?

Curious minds want to know.

Gary is out of town, for the day anyway. I talked with him this morning, he was in a bit of a quandry...seems that one of his contract stipulations requires an image makeover that will match the frosted and glazed image that goes with the product. He was on his way to hook up with Jimmy Reese to get some styling tips, and look through Jimmies portfolio of hair colors and brush up on hair care products. They were then supposed to go and meet Jimmies stylist...Raoul, (who evidently has an affection for large burly, one finger typing men), and Gary was going to undergo a personal image shaping. Gary was a little intimidated, but was admittadly "a bit excited", and yes, sounded even a bit giddy about the anticipation of the whole day! Should be interesting to see the before and after comparison....BDO to BDO with pizazz!! Frosetd, receeding thin hair...should be something to behold!!

Hey stop picking on Gary.

Post by rexford »

Gary is a nice guy and I am sure he is not very
happy with the support he is getting from
his local anglers and you people. I thought the
rules of this forum were no personal attacks.
I am ashamed to be affiliated with this
group.

Disappointed,
Mike

PS. Baskin-Robbins just called and said
they are down to 6 flavors. HAR!

Not sure, but it seems as if the whole group of you fella's that room together have become much more sensitive after making that contraversial movie a while back  What I mean is, new sponsors, new boat wraps, new stylish image's,complete with consultants? What was KB's new nickname? Can't wait to see what " Coles@#$!@" new boat and clothing deal looks like  I've seen yours and it's a winner :D Maybe the four of you could do a little skit at the draw for the FLW. I'm sure I can sell plenty of tickets.

Great to see you playin the game big guy

I'd better start looking here more often.

Post by Gary Dobyns »

Don't any of you bozos ever work , fish, chase the wife, jack*** or something? You have way too much free time.

1. Cooch needs a pair of ear plugs to keep that stuff from running out his ears. :D
2. KB has had a sex change. He was an English teacher before his operation. Now we know why he is so good with words.
3. Strader is always working with sheep. I'm not sure what he considers working with or doing sheep. He does have sheep shi* on his boot toes.
4. Hiser is jealous of the sheep. He's getting shorter and rounder by the day. The rumor around Cottonwood is he's running around on all fours bleating like a ewe in heat.
5. Cole might be nevous this next week.
6. Cervanka and Barron are heard to be butt buddies. What the hell is that?
7. I have been to the Strader's Ranch and when he has those tall boots on they run and daddddd, dadddddd, daddddd
8. Rumors have it that Tony Stolz buys No Sweat Mist by the 5 gallons buckets. Also he complains about the Misty Girls, he thinks there should be some Misty Boys. Tony also wants Michael Jackson to do some sort of video. :D :D
9.I think it's time someone else is in the barrel. My finger and this dam keyboard don't get along that well. I nominate COOCH. Next Sault. Next KB. And hell, lets start in on Dee Thomas. :D

Good luck fishing to all you perverts!!!!!!!

Post by Colebass »

I'm nervous Strader will bring his rubber boots

Then I'm nervous Hiser will get jeolous

Then I'm nervous you'll go on the Havasu Diet again, Lord knows you need it! :D Oh, wait I just remembered, EVINRUDE is coming out with a new 250 E-tec, you should be fine :)

I'm nervous your going to tell us KB's new nickname :D

And the thing I'm most concerned about is your ability to one finger it!

didn't mean to leave the support crew out in his press release.

Also, did you guys notice the Togo's logo on the Stren Rig?

You asked for it Gary! I've been...

Post by NaCl »

quietly reading all those posts about your "wrapped" boat without, even once, letting out a public peep in laughter or derision. (Gary, "derision" means "makin fun of" in Okie language) No, I never once joined in with the teasing about your culinary overkill. Yet, TWICE now you've chosen to impune me (Gary, "impune" means "makin fun of" in Okie) with your invective replies. (Gary..."invective" means "makin fun of" in Okie)

So, I'm gonna let the cat out of the bag.

You folks remember that picture of Gary I put up a while back. He was wearin an indian outfit and supposedly doin a rain dance on the banks of Shasta. Well...I'll admit...I phonied up that picture. Yep. It wasn't taken at Shasta! Truth is, he was wearing those feathers to excite Strader! Said something about farm boys lovin chickens! Makes me wonder what these guys do with all those ducks they kill???

Watch for my next online contest Gary! You are about to get featured in an online contest!
