Feb. 9th, 2017 - Tuolumne River Arm Debris Boom Status. Recent warm rains have brought high inflow and additional floating woody debris into the Tuolumne River Arm of Don Pedro Lake. To prevent this debris from moving downstream into the main body of the reservoir, debris booms at approx. 1.5 & 4 miles upstream from the Moccasin Pt. Recreation Area will remain closed until further notice.

Do they physically remove that debris from the river at some point? Seems like a challenging operation.
