I think you will get a million different answer based on everyone's personal preference. I'm a huge lucky craft 2.5 fan on the delta. I think the part everyone will agree on is get a red craw pattern and hold on lol

BDS 3's and 4's are hands down the best ones

I've thrown the arashi's also and they're good as well but for some reason I always color the circuit board lips with a sharpie. Especially since 99% of the time I'm throwing a craw color and that black lip and red craw body make it look like a fatter craw I think. I don't like that white colored lip on the red craw I think it just stands out way too much

I throw 3 different ones most of the time. First is the KVD 1.5 in chartreuse black back. Best for numbers until the fall. 2nd is the jaskall aska 50 in shad for the fall and my anytime bait in the jackall 50 in red craw for better fish.

I've been throwing Delta Red and Firetiger Speed Traps, on the Delta with tremendous success for YEARS!!! I have to credit Gary Dodyns for talking me into trying them out, after watching his tank demo at one of the San Jose (I believe) ISE shows. He demonstrated how adding Suspendots allows your bait to sit horizontal and by adjusting the weights you can make it sink, rise, or just stay level....I have more confidence in this bait on the Delta, then almost (Senko is hard to beat) any other Bait out there.

Bassmonkey - they work even better if your fishing out of an aluminum boat :D

The old reliable speed trap is one that is worth every penny but, make sure that you CHANGE the hooks as the stock ones suck!

Delta Craw Speed Trap, LC BDS 3 and BDS4 is also right up there. I dont care for the circuit board square bills, too much flex especially in the grass. For Clear Lake the Big Poppa is a great square bill.
