Non boater tournaments

Post by Austinsplaine12 »

Hello, I am a high school angler but am looking to fish additional tournaments. I do not have a boat and it has been hard to find tournaments that I am able to fish in as a non boater. If you guys have any tournaments in mind in NorCal please let me know. Thanks,

Austin,

a number of us started as non-boaters, and there are a number of pro-am events where you can get paired with a boater: Wild West Bass, FLW, CTT, WON Bass and Future Pro. Be careful though, starting as a non-boater is a gateway-drug to buying a boat and being poor the rest of your life, but Happy!

Hey Austin,
Those events already mentioned are definitely great depending on your availability and money. Depending on your age, you can look into an event that is coming up July 16th, which is the Pro Teen Classic on the Delta out of Russo's Marina. You may already know about it and perhaps already fish it, but thought I'd throw that one in the mix.

Another great option is the Bass Nation and/or the TBF - Federation (FLW). There is a Bass Nation event coming up soon at the Delta. I'm hearing really good things about the Bass Nation events. They are two day events and you draw a different angler each day. I believe entry is only $150 per event, but you do have to be a member to fish it.
They are both worth checking out, but I think the Bass Nation events are going to be getting even stronger in the near future.
Check them out..
