power pole bracket question-water on back deck

Post by Louie »

I just got a new Ranger with a power pole on it. When coming off plane water seems to shoot off the power pole bracket and gets water on back deck. it only happens to the side of the boat that has the pole. Anyone else have this issue? Any possible solutions? I have tried several times slowing down at different speeds and it seem to happen pretty consistently. Thanks.

Right before your boat come to a stop give a little throttle. Mine did the same thing

You can raise your entire bracket a few inches Post a side picture

I have given throttle before coming to stop. Just wondered if there was another way. Here is a side picture of the bracket Ken. Thanks.

I have two power poles. Happens on the driver side just like you describe. I havent been able to figure it out either. 2001 518.I have the brackets that mount in between motor and transom.

Raise the bracket also if there are mounting holes closer to the transom relocate them closer.
