Get on and off the water early this weekend. This is probably the biggest wake board and jerk ski weekend of the season, many boats make their way out of storage.

It's also the weekend you will see the most boats stranded at the dock, unable to move due to improper storage, etc.....

Sounds like the old days at Orwood before they improved the launch ramp!ash wrote:If you are really looking for lakeside entertainment. Behind the house, I live on a small lake, 95% of it is 5mph zone so no wake boats, skiers , or fast sight seers

Leaving the bass boat in the garage, taking the fly rod to the upper Sac for a little change of venue to miss the chaos of the launch ramps. Birds Nest, Copper Johns, and Caddis taking the place of Spinner Baits, Jigs, and Senkos.

Living in San Ramon I have a friend that has a big job at one of the Bishop Ranch business parks. Because of him I’m occasionally allowed to fish there, catch and release of course. There are several concrete ponds that are probably three or four feet deep and every couple of months I get invited to sling it for an hour or so. I’m hoping to get a text to go there this Monday. I have yet to turn this man down when invited and most of the fish run 1-4 pounds. I only fish the delta 5-6 hours every two weeks 8 months of the year and the ability get my fishing Jones met is huge.
