Par Dee Lake Question
Does anybody know if its worth fishing over melonies? Or is Pedro better than both?
Re: Par Dee Lake Question
Way back in the day I fished Melones and Don Pedro several times, Pardee only once. I found Pardee to be the tougher bite of the three, but I have heard from many that Pardee is a good fishery. The one thing that stood out to me is back in those days the water clarity at Pardee was much more clear than the other two lakes. That was my excuse for not catching at Pardee!Daniel Rodriguez wrote:Does anybody know if its worth fishing over melonies? Or is Pedro better than both?

Just remember to have your boat clean & dry including the water journals in your motor. If they lower your motor & water comes out they not let you in. Tip for fishing Pardee.
1. Go during the week.
2. Make long casts
3. Be quite.
I love this lake but the learning curve is tough.

Pardee posted these this weekend....
Dalton Mckenna out of Santa Cruz caught these beautiful largemouth bass today from the Tom Sawyer bridge. He used a drop shot with a morning dawn roboworm & his largest one was weighed in at 5 1/2 lbs. Nice job Dalton!
