hot foot
im a first time bass boat owner and i ordered a hot for. my question is do i need the adjustable plate
Re: hot foot
It makes it easier to adjust because it might be to close or to far when you are actually driving the boat.i adjusted mine 1 time never moved it again.

get the plate. I moved mine all the way back. im the second owner and the original gut had it to far forward for me to use it comfortably
Re: hot foot
I don't see any need to get the adjustable plate unless someone else who is a lot taller or shorter than you will drive your boat. Otherwise, you just screw down the pedal in the right spot for you and forget about it.

Re: hot foot
If you are used to hand control as I have been for my last 9 or 10 bass boats, the foot control isn't the problem. Jamming down the hand control forward and your boat is still not moving forward - that is the problem. Clients laughing at me was not nice - LOL!! Oh - I remember - the foot makes it go!!!!
