The kit comes with the straight plastic bushing for the spring-lock stainless based. To my understanding, it was used from 1994-2000 in Ranger boats, Champion boats (?) and other boats. The kit comes with a wooden dowel to drive bushing into the base, plastic bushing & glue is included (as shown in the picture below). To use this kit, after you removed the broken old insert; apply glue on the outside surface of the plastic insert to help secure it in place after installation. Then put the plastic bushing into the wooden dowel and hammer the insert into place.
