Ulltrex transducer

Post by Scott.Burke »

I just installed an Ulltrex. When updating my Lowrance HDS8 i want to put in the transducer type and I can’t find any document to say what it is. My cable doesn’t have a sticker on it? Thanks for the help

Please explain your ducer. Is it a puck style or a skimmer? Does it have the brass insert on the bottom if it is a puck style or on the oval back if it is a skimmer?

To make this easy, answer the questions above yourself and then choose the following model numbers for the transducer you have.

If it is a puck style with the brass temperature sensor insert, choose the PDT-WBL.
If the puck does not have the brass insert, choose the PD-WBL from the menu and then save your choice.

If the ducer is a skimmer type and has a water temp. sensor choose the HST-WBL.
If the skimmer does not have the temp. sensor choose the HS-WBL.

This does help the unit know which transducer is plugged into the unit but if you are not sure if it has the temp sensor or not, this is not the end of the world if you put in the model number with or without the "T" in the number.

It is the built in transducer on the Ulltrex 112 / 45. Does that help?

It looks like it has the metal dot for temp. Being internal on the trolling motor has got me baffled to what to tell my graph on installation.

Try the US2 or the Generic 83/200
