Re: Golden?
The micro guides are supposed to make the rod lighter, and to distribute the rod's load more efficiently.
I have several rods with micro guides.
I find they make very little difference to me in either casting or feel/sensitivity, and they don't make the rods feel any lighter. But they make using a leader with braid a nightmare. The knot, no matter how small (even the improved Alberto), sticks in the micro guides and messes up my casts.

Re: Golden?
Thank you for your answer now I know which rod to get not that micro rod.
Re: Golden?
Mark is correct on using leaders, knots hang up constantly.
One advantage to micro guides, if you step on your rods you are less likely to break off a micro guide than a normal guide.
