NEW MELONES TOURN 01/12/19

Post by steve black »

Just curious who's tourney when out of Tuttle Town New Melones yesterday 01/12/19. They had a good turn out, had to leave but just curious how many boats, what was the winning weight, and big fish weight.
Thanks Steve.

That was the Sonora Bass Anglers first tournament of 2019. 24 boats, every team caught a limit. Winning weight was over 19.50, with a big fish of 7.11. Big fish for the day was 7.67.

Folsom Bass Team went out of Glory Hole with 18 boats, so that's why is seemed like a lot of boats out there! For most of us, it was the first time at New Melones and we had a great time. Winning weight was 15.50 and big fish was just under 6 lbs. I think every boat but one had a limit as well...beautiful fishery!

Yeah, its my favorite Motherlode lake, the spots are so fat right now and pull harder than a run away dump truck. It was a beautiful day to be fishing. Hard to think its January :D Its only going to get better!!!

Our Sonora Bass club had a Large mouth for BF at 7.67 lbs and next was a 7.11 Spot. Took just under 20 lbs for first..

The bite is on and the rains have been great since Saturday. Water is moving in!

Thanks Will, I was wondering if the storms were dumping up there as well. I wanted to go the I.S.E. show but I may have to rethink it :D
