It's not the bay area but I am taking my boat to Mike McCluskey in Sacramento on Saturday. He is replacing the carpet in my 96 Skeeter and also installing brand new seats. He said it will take about a week. I will let you know how it comes out.

My friend just had Mike McCluskey re-carpet his Ranger 518 and it came out beautiful. Cost was reasonable too. He is licensed and bonded. 916-508-7992.

I am sure it will vary by boat. My friend paid $1200 or $1300 for 20lb carpet. Nice and plush.

I dropped my boat off with Mike on Saturday. New carpet, brand new seats and new pistons for all lockers for under $1,900. He will have it done by next Tuesday or Wednesday. I can't wait to get her back!!!!!

The carpet iin my Ranger is still ok, but its getting older and in a year or two will need to be replaced. I'm going to consider this product over carpet. Just another idea. I have no idea the price comparison with carpet either - it may be way more expensive.

I would worry that it would be very unforgiving, and hard on both my knees and my back. I'm looking to go the other way someday, and put padding under my front deck.

I picked up my 1996 Skeeter from Mike McCluskey yesterday. Mike replaced the carpet, installed brand new seats and replaced the piston for all the storage compartments. The entire job took only 10 days and was under $1900. I am completely impressed with the job he did.

I just wanted to give a big thanks to the people who took the time to give a review on my Marine carpet installation business. My goal is to provide a excellent top notch service. My business has grown every year quite rapidly with the help of clubs like Western bass and stores like Bass pro gone fishing books Cabela's and let's not forget CNC. Still don't have a website up and running but you can always look me up on Craigslist on your marine services. the listing of a bass boat carpeting or Marine carpet installation thanks again guys going to be another great year for fishing

DIY! Get some carpet from Home Depot. Air gun to spray glue and you are money!

That is one heck of a deal. Up here in Lake County for my old 89 Ranger I was quoted
$3500 just for the carpet.
