In case you haven't heard, Clear Lake is known across the country as the "Land of the Giants".

And with the warm weather that is forecast for this week, these "giants" may just be about ready to stretch their legs and come out to play. And this Saturday, you may get your chance to "rassle" with some big girls, as the Future Pro Tour rolls into Clear Lake for the 2nd event of the season!

Tuesday thru Saturday, temps are forecast to be:

So this may be the big bass "slugfest" everyone has been waiting on!

Your chance to win an Nitro Z18/Mercury package!

You don't want to miss this event, as it could jeopardize your chance to win a new Nitro Z18/ Mercury package expertly rigged by Gone Fishin Marine in Dixon, as you must fish at least 4 of the 5 scheduled FPT events to make this year's FPT Classic championship, which will be held on the California delta the first two days, with the final ten teams moving on to (on day three) to compete on lake "X" - which will be disclosed to all qualifiers at year's end.

Signups will be taken the morning of the event at Clearlake Bait and Tackle (Redbud Park) beginning at 4am, where limited memberships of just $10 will be available for those that can only fish this event or simply want to try out FPT.

See you all this weekend at Clear Lake.... "Land of the Giants"!

It's completely overcast with a strong west wind.
But, I hope they get some 30 pound bags, unlike the Berryessa prediction you made.
