Does anyone have the scoop on what happened to the BDS 4 crankbaits? Seems to be quite the mystery. I used to have boxes of these things and took them for granted. Now I'm down to a couple. Tackle warehouse no longer carries them. It seems nobody carries them.

The moment that Hunter Shlander won the Delta FLW on that bait I knew they would become difficult to find. But it's been two years and they are not being sold anywhere. That seems strange.

I heard a rumor that someone like Berkeley purchased the mold and will be making a knockoff.

The things I would do to get my hands an a few in the Spring Craw color .

Try getting a staycee 90 in chartruse shad or ghost minnow - ive heard a few different rumors about LC in the past year and I for one am glad to have at least 6 of the CBD 4 - one white chart and the rest craw color - remember a good bait painter can always get ya the colors you want so if you are concerned with them going away buy blanks or whats there and see if you can get them painted up.

I can find the staysees in those colors, as a matter of fact TW has them in stock now. It's those dang BDS 4s that have vanished. And yes, I agree getting them custom painted is a great idea. My problem is that on a good day I sacrifice couple to the bass fishing gods. Banging those levee wall rocks with 10lb flouro is a productive, but dangerous proposition. I always counted on a steady stream for Tackle Warehouse and my supply has run dry .

I suppose I could just shut up and find another crankbait to fish from the hundreds of brands and options that are out their .
