Clear Lake algae

Hello. Looking to make a possible trip to Clear Lake next weekend. How is the algae recently? I heard the lake was clear most of summer but some algae may be coming back? Thanks for any input.

Lake is still in good shape. The algae doesn't bother those fish anyway..

Best I’ve seen the lake look in years. A lil stain to the water helps the fishing.

Wasn’t bad last week, just some spots close to shore, fish were deeper anyway

Was up there every weekend in July and there was not much algae. Some of the days when it would start to accumulate it would be gone by late afternoon, even on the hotter days.
