Post by JcoBassin »

Find a local Bass club near you and consider joining. Go to a tournament weigh-in tournament day and observe/speak with guys there and let them know you are looking to get into tournament fishing. Westernbass has interactive forum section where you can post that you are a Co looking for a Boater to fun fish or fish tournaments. Boaters there also list that they are looking for co-anglers to fish with. It would help if you were more specific in what part of the state and what waters are near you to fish. Are you wanting to just fish local or travel anywhere? Get out on the lake and talk to people. Go to your local tackle shop and introduce yourself and let them know you are looking for a Boater to fish/learn from. They might know some boaters tournament guys looking for a Co-Angler. Get out there and shake some hands and kiss some babies. Lol. But most importantly. When you find a Boater/Partner. Make sure you help out with his gas and be the first one eager to wipe the boat down after a day on the water. That goes a long way and we appreciate that....

Hope it helps.
Good Luck!
