Boat Fire on the DElta

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A boat caught fire Friday afternoon on the Sacramento River in Sacramento County.

The fire ignited around 3:30 p.m. near the 8300 block of Freeport Boulevard, the Sacramento Fire Department said.

Fire officials said a person on the boat was able to swim to safety and is OK.

Wow! It looked like the fire dept. was really concerned with the fire spreading.
