Purchasing used boat/motor inspection

I have a friend he is looking at purchasing his first unit and outboard. Does anybody have any recommendations on a shop in the Sacramento area that does outboard motor inspections to see if there are any more issues with the motor?

Preferably Sac, south sac, Elk Grove area

C&C Marina, Bucks Outboards, Gone Fishing, any reputable outboard mechanic will be able to look it over. Your friend may want to ask for the latest compression test, service history, and hour break down before even taking it to a mechanic. Ask the previous owner where it was serviced etc...
