Shellcracker wood or plastic

So I have a black dog shellcracker that is about 10 years old. How do i tell if its wood.

It's wooden if it's 10 years old 5 1/2" model. The plastic Sell Cracker G2 models are 4" and rounded as I recall.

You should be able to tell by the sound it makes when you tap it. Plastic sounds hollow, wood is more of a thud.

I measured it its almost 6 inches so I guess its wood.havent throw it in 10 years. Found it in the box.

Nice find the wooden Shellcracker is no longer in production and highly sought after lure.
