Ultrex transducer interference with HDS Gen 2

I just installed and HDS 10 non-touch gen 2 to my ultrex TM. Whenever i engage the trolling motor to turn left or right there is major interference on the 2D sonar. I know what normal vibration looks like when the prop is rotating but this is different. My sensitivity is set right around 76% and the picture is great when not turning the motor. Any advice or has anyone ever dealt with this?

I had the same issue.. there is a fuse in the head of the trolling motor that will blow if something is installed why power is live on the boat.

Have you tried directly connecting the power from the HDS unit to the cranking battery? Use at least 14 gauge wire and a 3 amp fuse. This really helped me

Okay thank you. I just got the boat and installed a new graph on the console so that sounds like a possibility. Any idea what the fuse powers?

No I have not tried that yet. If the fuse is still is not the issue I will try that.

Go check on YouTube. That's how I fixed mine took about 10 minutes.
