Hook 7 issue

i have Hook 7 on the bow and console. They work properly when first turned on but after making a run the console units takes a long time to find the bottom again and start working. The front unit seems to not find bottom when the trolling motor is pulled from water and then put back in. If I turn them off and then back on they work perfectly. Any ideas on why this is happening? I know this was posted a while ago having the same problem on my bow so I learned if you tap the power button and put it in standby mode during your run and then hit enter when you arrive all is good hopefully this helps.

You need to put the sonar on: Standby; you can access to Standby by touching the power button and scroll to Standby. Once you reach destination you put the TM in the water and you just push power button.
