Of course I hope he’ll make a swift recovery, as well. He’s one of the most (over)analytical bass anglers out there, and I think that makes him awesome.

Another update from fellow Duo staffer David Swendseid

UPDATE on Aaron and Lesley
Doctors found 2 lesions. He is scheduled for brain surgery Monday 6th, for removal of a tumor. Biopsy results will be available in approximately a week. This is a difficult time as you all can imagine. Due to hospital protocol recently, Lesley can't be near her husband. Aaron is functioning well under the current circumstance. Lesley has specifically asked that we all PRAY for him and her family!
Again Thank you for taking time out your busy schedules and commitments to pray for the Martens family. It's been amazing. - DUO International Mgr, David Swendseid

UPDATE on Aaron from David. Today Aaron will be going into surgery. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. It is a difficult time. Aaron has had some continued symptoms (minor seizures) but is responding to treatment. He is scheduled for surgery this afternoon. Unfortunately, the Martens have not yet been united due to the hospital's COVID-19 protocol. You can imagine, how difficult this must be for the family. Lesley has asked we continue our prayers. Aaron is greatly appreciative of the community's support and has specifically asked we pray for him. Keep this family in your hearts, minds and prayers. Pray for a successful procedure, a favorable prognosis, and a return home so the family can be reunited. I personally ask if its not too much to share your post/ this post (to pray for the family) Sincerely David Swendseid

COVID 19 not allowing family members bedside before major surgery is stressful and creates a great deal of worry for Aaron, Lesley his entire family.
When someone asks for prayers they are very worried.

GIG indeed. Go Aaron. I smile whenever I get a chance to see him on MILF. I fished in the 80's in tournaments here in SoCal and both he and his mother were the real deal. Praying for nothing but the best for our former native son.

That is great news, I was up late and into the early hours this morning watching old Bassmasters Classics on the Delta. Aaron had a 1st and 2nd place finish what a stick. I pray Aaron will get better soon and have another shot at the Delta when he is ready. I posted links below to the tournaments I watched early this morning. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I did. I am sure many ofyou have time to spare like me so check them out and enjoy. I also pray for those that have the time to spare right now will be able to get back to work/school/life in general/and of course fishing real soon.
