Weather man says triple digits (maybe) later this week:

"I'm going out to fish," Simon Peter told them, and they said, "We'll go with you." So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.

"OK guys, Who brought the banana?"

Good luck, My first time up there and not a good first impression. The wind was a pain, and from what i heard it was worse than it normally is. Second, there were lots of dead fish, being washed up. shad, catfish, bass, and few other types. Not sure whats killing them. third, I fished two days and caught two fish, I threw everything i had and nothing. I hope it was just a fluke. I wont give up yet. Next time will be better :D , I hope

It's been fine, 20 pound limits, you can carolina drag a lizard or fish wacky senco's. Watermelon combinations or the old standby, green pumpkin.

You can usually find some decent water that is at least partially protected from the wind or look for a rocky bank with weedbeds close in and throw the senco in the weed pockets right up tight to the bank, get ready and hold on!

Yea, yea, yea, I here you basstamer. I dont give up that easy. Maybe next time I will lasso another bass boat and follow them around to find the secret. I did however cross a few boats trolling, but didnt see them pullin in nutin either. I have a night tourney there next month so maybe I will just be the non-boater and see what happens. and nice try, since you mention it though I like berryessa. I caught lots of fish, nothing big, but lots. berryessa is a nice piece of water.

:D

I love CL so much I moved to Lakeport! After fishing CL only a half dozen times....my biggest there to date is only a 6, from the bank at County Park. In other words, you don't even need a boat!

My dream is a 10 on my #9 flyrod...Got a frog of my own I want to try out there...

Beautiful fishing out there at night. That might change your perspective....

I'm told that Summers are windy up there...some good sheltered water around Konocti Bay.

I can't wait to get out there & learn more about the lake!

& 'Bones, what about those races? I might just walk over there Sat. night...

Tight lines all!
