Changes to the delta. I believe the primrose infestation is wrecking the delta. When I first started fishing the delta, tourneys were won with 15-18 pounds. Then it got to high 20's and 20 to get a check. Seems were getting back to where it was 49 years ago. Too much bank cover being lost.

March 16th 2020 was hook, line and sinkers TOC
and It was a slug/fest. Took over 58#s (2day event)to win it .
There were multiple bags over 30 #s And Rodney Brinser posted an amazing 38# bag to win event: and I know no-one was bedfishing cause it was blowing 20mph ! The deltas not giving it up right now and in my opinion not from the primrose. I hook fish all the time in primrose- getting em out is the problem!

Gotta remember we are on 6hr tournament rules now and we had to deal with 30+ mph winds. These are pretty typical Post spawn weights. Down a little from past years but that's just the ebb and flow of mother nature. For the most part I'd say the Delta is pretty heathy with lots of small fish for years to come.

Thank you NewJen for a very well run tournament and always friendly smiles. See you back on July 11th!
