Is this open to the public or other first responders? Fundraiser, if so, for what?

Hi, one member in the boat must be a firefighter. Active, reserve or retired

Every spring on the delta is a badge tournament. All ems, fire and law are welcome to fish.

Really?
I thought this was a FF Games deal where everyone had to be a firefighter?
Why the change?

Due to the corona virus the official firefighter games have been cancelled. This tournament is not affiliated with the games however they do support us having this event

We strongly encourage both team members to be firefighters, active, retired or reserve.

If this is not possible and one firefighter is able to fish we have the flexibility to allow another non firefighter to fish this year with approval. Example family members, law enforcement, military. No guides or professional fisherman that are not firefighters will be allowed to fish.
