humming bird locators with mg ultrex

What humming bird locator do I need? I understand h~ birds are needed to follow contours with my mg ultrex. I would like any advice that is necessary and experience doing this at Commanche or Berryessa. I guess it is also necessary to buy a special map for this to work. Maybe to much cost to convert from my lowrance or garmin. Just interested in how well this set up works. Thanks,Ken

You will need an Ultrex with Ipilot Link and a Humminbird graph that is network capable like the Solix or Helix, not sure about the new model. You will also need a Lakemaster map card. I am using a Helix G3N, The interface is a little cumbersome, but now that I know how it works, it is not difficult. There are a number of YouTube videos on using the Follow the Contour feature.
