Need more info on how it will be used. What sort of boat? On the console or at the bow? What trolling motor? What is your budget? And, where do you fish most often?

My Partner just got a Lowrance TI12 and said its by far the best and easiest graph he's ever operated (and hes kina tech illiterate)

The great thing about the TI is that it can network with the HDS Live unit. You cant go wrong with a Lowrance.

My Ranger 518 now has an X85 on bow and an X15 at the console. I will be fishing BERRYESSA, Clear lake, Shasta, and Oroville. No price point.
Thx guys!

The biggest screen you can afford. I think you would be happy with any brand.

Since you are used to Lowrance, I agree with Ash. The Elite Ti2 series is a great choice. (And this coming from a guy that is currently using Humminbird Helix!) I would recommend the largest screens you are willing to pay for, but not smaller than 9". Get the NMEA 2000 network so you can share waypoints. There are a multitude of videos on YouTube.com and the Lowrance web sight that you can view to learn how to use all the features. I recommend looking at some of those before you make your purchase. Since your current units don't have GPS, that will be a new world to you. I think that will be a great feature that you will wonder how you ever did without.

Thx. I’ve been stuck in the fog @ Clear lake and Delta. Not fun!
